With five more games left on the schedule for the Las Vegas Raiders, this has turned into one of the longest seasons in recent memory. But how many wins do the Silver and Black have left in them?
Black Friday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs provided some short-term nostalgia. Who can forget when Aidan O’Connell helped lead the Raiders to a win last year on Christmas? If not for a last-second offensive blunder, history could have been repeated. However, last Friday only served as a reminder of the absolute abomination that the 2024 campaign has been.
Looking at the big picture, the Raiders are in play for the 2025 NFL draft’s top selection, according to Tankathon. In fact, there are three other teams with ten losses: the Jacksonville Jaguars, New England Patriots, and New York Giants.
Ironically enough, Las Vegas will be facing the Jacksonville Jaguars in a few weeks; you could argue that this matchup might decide who ends up with the No. 1 overall pick if neither team wins another game. Speaking of which, will the Raiders indeed win another game this season?

Besides the Jaguars contest, the Raiders will also be facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints—along with one more AFC West clash with the Los Angeles Chargers. With both the Bucs and Falcons dueling for a playoff spot (both teams have six wins), you can see these squads will be hungry for a win—the Raiders? Maybe not so much. Right? Looks like the race for Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward is officially on if you’re a Raiders fan.
