Ashton Jeanty Talks Top-30 Visit With Las Vegas Raiders

We’re just over one week away from the 2025 NFL Draft, and still, Ashton Jeanty remains the favorite to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders at sixth-overall. That isn’t much of a surprise–not only is Jeanty considered one-of-three prospects on their own tier in this draft, but the running back position remains the weakest on Sin City’s roster.

It’s the perfect pairing, even more so when considering Pete Carroll’s love for running the football. After all, per Jeanty himself, he and Carroll had a conversion about the “art” of carrying the rock.

As the Raiders and Jeanty remain a pairing that the NFL-world can’t unsee, the Boise State superstar joined the Pat McAfee Show to talk about his top-30 visit with the Silver and Black.

“On my 30-day visit with the Raiders, they had us playing golf at Topgolf,” Jeanty noted. However, Jeanty wasn’t the only prospect there with Sin City’s football team. With him were quarterbacks Jaxson Dart, Quinn Ewers and Will Howard, linebacker Josaiah Stewart, and potential top-10 draft selections Will Campbell and Mason Graham.

If this story sounds familiar, you know your football. The Washington Commanders did the same thing with Jayden Daniels last offseason, bringing him and a group of prospects to Topgolf.

As McAfee suggests, this is likely to see how certain guys interact with one another. And Jeanty likes that.

“Relationships are important, especially with those guys that you’re going to battle with on the field,” Jeanty responded. If the 21-year-old is truly who the Raiders are targeting in late April, that’s only music to their ears.

We’re nine days away from seeing whether or not Jeanty will suit up in the NFL’s iconic silver and black uniforms.
